Good evening, 

I have been suffering with throat clearing issue and acid reflux for the past four years.  It is only recently due to a history of Barretts osesophageus and my brother dying from oesophageal cancer that I was referred for a Gastrocopy procedure,  It found a possible tongue of  Barretts ? and they have taken biopsy to rule this out.  I recently had blood tests with tumour markers all of which actually came back normal, but even so I am really scared that it I do have Barretts it will either already be cancer or could become it

I have searched this site but cannot find a link to Barretts oesophagus but would be so grateful to speak to anyone who might have had this diagnosis or know what the outcome of such a condition might mean.
