CT virtual colonoscopy

hello.  I am new to this forum. I have had 2 colonoscopies ( second one resulted in perforation) and hemicolectomy .  due to continuing pain and problems I am now supposed to have a CT virtual colonoscopy.  I am completely traumatised by the events of the last 5 and a half months.  I am terrified of any examinations .  I have just read about the CT virtual colonoscopy procedure and I can already feel the panic starting. there is risk of perforation! and I don't know if I can lie on my tummy at all.  I am so so worried.  can anyone reassure me?  advise me? please.  thank you

    We have some information about the virtual colonoscopy on our website here. As I am not able to advise beyond this, you may find it helpful to talk things through with one of our nurses.
