Hi my father has recently been admitted to hospital very ill.. low blood pressure, severe weight loss, no energy, trouble breathing, struggling to walk

He’s smoked & drank alcohol all his life. His recent MRI scan showed a shadow on his pancreas. We’re just waiting of the next steps. Whilst in hospital they’ve drained his stomach (4l of liquid) he seems more comfortable & taking much better

The doctors have advised that he may be too ill to treat I can’t understand how quick this has all happened as at the end of November his MRI was clear

This is the longest week of my life just waiting for answers now
