Hi , I had a biopsy on 14/2/24 for suspected cancer of the womb lining. How long should it take for the results to come back? I should probably have asked when I had the procedure but for some reason I didn’t.
Our website mentions that for a womb biopsy, you would normally get your results within 2 weeks so you should be getting them in the next few days. If you haven't heard anything back after 2/3 weeks, give your doctor or the hospital a call and they will be able to update you on how long it might take for you to receive them.
