Hello Bubbles,

I can completely relate. I have crippling health anxiety. Currently writing this from my bed as I've tried getting up this afternoon and felt so ill from.the anxiety that i decided my bed is my safe place! Ive recently been given an urgent 2 week referral too. I found a lump in one breast which is very painful but wasnt too worried..at the time! As soon as my doctor felt my other breast and found another lump I didn't know i had, I immediately went into shut down mode! Barely eaten in the three days since. Not even thirsty. I feel frozen with fear and imagining all sorts (hair loss, death etc!). Im already scared if death and now i just feel debilitated and desperate. Ive tried borrowing some money to book privately but ironically, they're all closed at the weekend, which has made me feel worse. My mum died of ovarian cancer but no ine else in my family has Cancer history so im trying to calm down but instead my brain is on overdrive.

Feel so scared and alone.

Hi Danni your not alone lovely. I’ve been the same in bed unable to get up. Literally crippled with fear. It’s debilitating isn’t it  I would call them Monday to be asked to go on the cancellation list. I’m going to call back too. Let’s try and help each other get through the wait. Hi. I have my scan through for 11th March  it says on the letter I will have results 3 weeks after it but I will be asking some questions while I'm there. I've managed to keep distracted the past few days but still constantly looking at my breast as I'm so scared people don't believe me "there's changes" after how I've been treated, I'm convincing myself I'm imagining it but 3 months later and it's still an odd shape/ colour

Thank you, I’m terrified! Mine has got so much worse so I’m finding it hard to not think down the IBC route now. Really hope your scan goes well and you start to get taken seriously! We know our bodies! X

Thanks so much for thinking of me Nhj91 and all. 
mammogram and ultrasound clear. He did the usual examination and had a very good look at it and said well it’s definitely not pagets. Anyway he isn’t really sure what it is. Told me to take starflower oil and change my washing powder and go back in three months. He was very lovely and seemed adamant it’s not Pagets

said it could be hormones / fluid in the ducts “stagnating” or dermatitis but truly wasn’t sure 

I felt very relieved the scans were clear but a bit unsure about not knowing what it is. Sitting here itching like mad lol, going to forget it tonight as far too tired 

Thank you all so much for all of your support and thoughts I honestly couldn’t have even got through the appointment without you all.

I am delighted to hear this. I'm sure that you must feel greatly relieved, although I'm also sure that you want to find out what it is and to get the itch stopped. If you don't want to suffer this for another 3 months, it might be time to ask your GP for a referral to a dermatologist.

I'm glad to see that you will have a review in 3 months.

Sorry Bubbles and everyone, been in a bad place for a week or so. Long story but think maybe a comedown from all the worry and anxiety and mad myself so ill. Im couldn't be more relieved for you Bubbles. It made my day, reading that yesterday as ive been thinking of you all so much. Back at work now and taking it all in ..i do feel very lucky and relieved so not sure why i couldn't snap out if it.

Thanks so much Jolamine. I’m going to make an appointment with the dermatologist just to re assure myself that the breast surgeon is correct. I am sure he is but we only one body and my understanding is you can’t tell if it’s Pagets by looking at it, nor by imaging. I’m sure he has vast experience so I’m not going down a rabbit hole but would like another opinion. Thank you xx
