I just joined as I have itching in one nipple, have had eczema type flare ups and the itching is insane, skin affected started on arela and itching has now spread to nipple, creams help for a while but don't take it away. Dr has referred me urgently to breast clinic so now I wait.

Just wanted to post to say you're not the only one waiting and worrying, I am too and hopefully we can support each other xx

Hi Bumble so sorry you are going through this too. It’s awful this wait isn’t it. I’ve managed to get an appointment for Tuesday but am petrified. Just have a very bad feeling about as it’s clearly not right :(

yeah I do think I might. have you eaten? I always find an empty stomach makes my anxiety worse, even fore a yoghurt in if you haven't because it'll be a long day if you app isn't until 2.40 xx

Thankyou Bumble and Bubbles for asking I haven't long come home so after mamogram there were 3 lumps also had ultra sound and biopsey   praying that they going to be benign but have to wait nurse did say something about fibroadenoma I think that's what she said but scared to get my hopes up ...but feel a lot more calmer after talking to her xxx

Been thinking of you all afternoon Justme! How did the biopsies go? Hope you are not in any pain. Will keep everything crossed for a good outcome on your results. It’s good they have biopsied them as you will know for sure x

Biopsies was OK bit sore now tired and drained  after talking to the ultrasound woman and nurse I feel alot calmer just hoping I sleep tonight as I think I need to xx

Did they give you any idea of how it looks or are they just waiting for biopsy? Is that a long wait? You get the feet up and take a well deserved rest xx

Hay Bumble she said it looks like fibro something I can't remember inwas in shock therevwas 3 there !! But obviously she wouldn't say 100 percent  .. but that give me some hope xx

Oh that does sound good, not that there's 3 but if they are leaning towards something benign. Hope you're feeling OK today xxx

I really hope you get the all clear soon Justme, it’s so stressful waiting to hear. I’ve just requested a dermatology appointment as after a lot of research it is clear Pagets cannot be ruled out by a consultant looking at it, nor by imaging. Feel a bit fed up as I was so relieved for so little time! I guess the positive is there wasn’t anything found inside the breast but if it is Pagets it’s hopefully local but needs dealing with asap. Hopefully not but I can’t live waiting for months to be seen again

Ohh Bubbles I know how you feel ....I feel the same I do feel a bit calmer in some ways but also scared as there is now 3 lumps  I just try and need to stay calm otherwise I will drive myself insane !! I hoping that if she had seen anything nasty there yesterday surely she would of said ? Xxx

Oh bubbles did they not do a biopsy? I've read that's the ONLY way they know. MRI can detect more than US or mammo but I don't think they do that at my clinic, it only mentions the other two. I'm nervous they don't do full workup too

I do think they would tell you if they were really worried just me but I do know what you mean, you worry until you have it 100% confirmed.

I thought I was fine but cried today in work and I'm driving myself insane. One week to go xx

Nope no biopsy, he seemed adamant it wasn’t Pagets but like you say they can only tell by biopsy. It’s reassuring there isn’t any cancer below it but now I need another opinion! Then no doubt a wait for results again. It’s all so stressful. I wonder if you should ask next week for a biopsy at the same time as all these delays are not good for us!

It’s so hard isn’t it. I’m trying not to get so stressed out like I have been as it doesn’t change anything. No doubt once I get this next appointment I will be back panicking again! 

Yeah if he doesn't do it I'll be asking why but I'm hoping he does so I don't have to question or worry about it although I've had this itch for quite some time so I'm like well if it was cancer surely it would advance more by now. My mind is all over the place 

Thank you, I'm fine again now, I just think talking about it makes it seem more real so the emotion overcame me. I'm having a duvet evening to relax xx

July! For private!!!!! Holy *** that's insane. I dread to think what the NHS waiting list is if that's private

Yep just trying the other private hospital and they are better but still two months x
