I just joined as I have itching in one nipple, have had eczema type flare ups and the itching is insane, skin affected started on arela and itching has now spread to nipple, creams help for a while but don't take it away. Dr has referred me urgently to breast clinic so now I wait.

Just wanted to post to say you're not the only one waiting and worrying, I am too and hopefully we can support each other xx

Hi Bumble so sorry you are going through this too. It’s awful this wait isn’t it. I’ve managed to get an appointment for Tuesday but am petrified. Just have a very bad feeling about as it’s clearly not right :(

Yeah, husband will go and if he doesn't my best friend will so I'm lucky to have their support, they're the only ones who know as well, it's a funny position because I'm like is there anything to tell my parents. My dad lives alone and isn't well so I don't want to worry him for nothing and I wondered about telling my mam but she will call me 10 times a day if I do lol

I know what you mean, the hours are long but hopefully tomorrow night you'll sleep like a baby with the news you've nothing to worry about xx

Aww good my dad lives in Spain sadly my mams not alive... buy yes I know what you mean ..  I just keep thinking the worst I think we all do  it a hard draining time for us all ️ xx

it really is draining, the crying an emotions and I wish I was one of these people who didn't eat when stressed.....I can't stop!!

Probably because it's so close for you now, it's like this big lead up and we build it up in our heads and so the anxiety gets to run rampant!!

I don't know how many times I've googled nipple biopsy because I want to be prepared but I don't think you can ever fully be prepared and I'm sure they'll be very gentle with us as they'll know we're worried xx

I don't know how many times iv googled the same over and over and ended up in a right state !! All the what Ifs and because I know the ct seen a lump that makes me even worse xx

I totally understand, my itch is very bad today and the redness is getting worse so I'm googling pictures to compare but see nothing like mine which didn't help is make me worse. Anxiety is a horrible affliction xx

Just think that one way or the other today you will have some kind of answers and you can face whatever it is, it's facing the unknown that people find hardest. I was reading posts last night and everyone agreed that the wait was absolutely the worse bit, no matter the outcome. deep breaths and one foot in front of the other. so glad you have someone with you xx

2.40 my app is so some waiting around this morning and yes it's definitely a one foot in front of the other day today Thankyou and thankyou for just being here xx

I'll be in work next week on the morning but I don't know if I should work from home because I'll be a bag of nerves, but try to remain positive, I've literally just received my letter from the clinic and the opening line is "more than 90% of patients who attend clinic have a non-cancerous disease" that's fantastic odds in our favour

Take the day off for yourself !! Anxiety is awful I feel so  sick  I am trying my best to stay calm ...but it just starts again xx

yeah I do think I might. have you eaten? I always find an empty stomach makes my anxiety worse, even fore a yoghurt in if you haven't because it'll be a long day if you app isn't until 2.40 xx

Thankyou Bumble and Bubbles for asking I haven't long come home so after mamogram there were 3 lumps also had ultra sound and biopsey   praying that they going to be benign but have to wait nurse did say something about fibroadenoma I think that's what she said but scared to get my hopes up ...but feel a lot more calmer after talking to her xxx

Been thinking of you all afternoon Justme! How did the biopsies go? Hope you are not in any pain. Will keep everything crossed for a good outcome on your results. It’s good they have biopsied them as you will know for sure x

Biopsies was OK bit sore now tired and drained  after talking to the ultrasound woman and nurse I feel alot calmer just hoping I sleep tonight as I think I need to xx

Did they give you any idea of how it looks or are they just waiting for biopsy? Is that a long wait? You get the feet up and take a well deserved rest xx

Hay Bumble she said it looks like fibro something I can't remember inwas in shock therevwas 3 there !! But obviously she wouldn't say 100 percent  .. but that give me some hope xx
