Tumor marker tests

I'm 50 following a steady climbing ca125 over past 4 years and now 48. Iv just had 3 blood test done for tumor markers ca19-9. CEA Ca125. Following a appt with gyne consultant. Is this a cancer scare, is there a chance these will all come back clear? Is it unusual to hv these diffrent markers done together??

I can't talk to anyone about this, my sis in law is dying of last stage cancer I can't speak about this , I feel I'm making a fuss in light of her situation, I also hv other symptoms when the dr asked. Just needed to get my thoughts out..help just feeling foolish and lost, making a deal with no diagnosis

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I can understand it is difficult dealing with this uncertainty and waiting for further information. I'm also sorry to hear of the situation with your sis in law. You're not making a fuss, it's understandable to have some concerns.

    Hello

    i wondered if you had an update at all, as yours is the only post I have found very similar to what my gynaecologist has done with the three blood tests required 

    hopefully all ok
