So I found a lump in my breast last month went to the docs. Was referred within 2 weeks to the hospital mammogram and ultrasound and core biospy done. The woman doing the scan said it looked like a fibroadenoma and I was sent on my way. Then I received a letter asking me to go back to the hospital the mcmillan unit which I wasn't expecting as I thought I'd just be going back to the breast screening clinc for results.
Any way I've seen had a ct scan done and then I received a phone call from the hospital saying they'd had a cancellation and had brought my appointment forward to the 27th which made me curious so I checked my NHS app and it says the result of the ct scan has shown small swollen nodes in both armpits and it says on the report to ultrasound the right armpit if the lump is malignant. But in the NHS app as soon as my doc has seen that she's sent an urgent letter to the breast clinc which was sent the same day they rang me to bring my appointment forward.
Also on the letter the gp sent the breast clinc that I can see on the NHS app says at the bottom.
"I note the pathology results and the armpit was not examined on ultrasound"
Anyone got any advice cause I'm slightly worried now. Does that mean my gp has the results of the biopsy and is just been very careful how it's worded cause obviously I cam see that in the NHS app but I've not been told anything by anyone.
