Hi, I (39m) am new to the forum and thought I'd share.

Whilst at work I noticed a lump under my right ear beside my jaw. After an initial consultation with the GP (where I was told to give it a fortnight to see if it disappeared), I went back for a blood test, followed by an examination, this time per chance, with a different doctor. She was much more thorough and said that she noticed both supraclavicular lymph nodes were also swollen (although I am unable to see/feel them myself). She also said that she is not overly worried, but booked me in for an ultrasound to be certain. Blood tests all came back within normal ranges.

Even though i knew it was a bad idea, I googled supraclavicular lymph node adenopathy anyway, and... let's just say I've been spiralling downwards with worry since.

Whilst waiting for my scan, I have started getting night sweats (another symptom). Anyone else had experience with this whilst awaiting tests? I feel like I'm tying myself up in knots on what could or could not be cancer/anxiety symptoms.
