Has anyone had total duct excision surgery

Hiya

Just wondered of anyone could share their experiences with me with their total duct excision surgery, their results and if they had to have any further treatments after due to having uneven boobs.

I am 3 days pre op and feeling a little uncomfortable, so just need to take it easy i think and keep resting when I can and ontop of painkillers. It's hurting more when I'm trying to do things So I need to listen to my body.

I have a wound check next week and back for check up with the doctor what will be 2 weeks after the operation.

I'm already noticing the size difference in that my boob that has been operated on already looks smaller now the swelling is going down which is upsetting me a little and making the whole thing seem very real. The waiting game seems very long and I'm only a few days in.

I had this procedure due to having yellow/green discharge with blood from my nipple and on off pain and itching. No lumps that I knew off. This discharge had been present for months on and off and would build up on the side of the tip of my nipple without sounding to graphic.

I haven't breastfed in 18 years,  I did have nipple piercings which were never infected.

I'm just super tearful now. Everything's getting to me . I was quite blasé about the whole thing and just went it had it done and just went about my day and went back to being mum but reality has kicked in I think and fear ...

Has any got a similar story at all
