Waiting times

Hi, I have just today been referred to the breast clinic. I don’t have a lump but changes in my breast and the GP was able to feel thickening and see discolouration on my breast. As there was no lump he said the referral was routine and not urgent but I forgot to ask the waiting time. 
I am in NHS Lanarkshire, does anyone know the approximate wait time at the moment?

    Hopefully some of our members who are based in Lanarkshire will let you know how long they had to wait for their routine referrals soon but don't be afraid of getting back in touch with your GP as they will be able to answer this and any other questions you may have forgotten to ask about at the time.

    Waiting for appointments is always tough but we are here for you TH1 and will have our fingers crossed for a good outcome.

    I'm in Yorkshire which doesn't help but my appointment came as soon as I'd left the Drs surgery and I was seen within 2 weeks (Monday just gone). Maybe give them a call and chase up how long you will have to wait. I'm sure most areas across the UK are 2 weeks.
