As far as I know, the odds if cancer after a positive FIT are about one in ten, but that is an overall result and includes people with very concerning symptoms and those of all ages. Given that you now have no other symptoms and you are on the younger side, the odds are probably significantly lower in your particular case.

Thanks for the reassurance, I had diarrhea for about a week that’s why I went to my gp and given the fit test , my diarrheas gone away and normal stools with no visible blood. Just one more thing the sample I used was when my diarrhea was at its worst could there be inflammation in there

Hi as others have said its much more likely to be something far less serious than cancer although I understand your worry because I was the same ,I had Diarrhea for well over a month I'd lost a lot of weight had a positive fit test and blood test ,I had a colonoscopy and a Hysteroscopy but it turned out to be nothing to worry about so just go there and get tested its a good thing it puts your mind at ease .
