A very warm welcome to our forum. I am sorry that I never noticed your post before your appointment. Did they say that they had found a lung mass at your initial appointment? If so, this must have been a worrying wait for you. I do sincerely hope that the MDT had discussed treatment options for you, and that you were able to talk these over with your consultant yesterday.

That is so very kind thank you so doctor is 50 50 between infection and cancer. I'm now in hospital as shortness of breath and chest pains so will be having another ct scan at some point and go from there
Yes found a mass well by mistake really as they were checking for appendicitis. I must say that the nurse was alot more helpful. They are going to do a biopsy and another scan.
I am sorry to hear that you've had to be admitted with this, and hope that they manage to make you feel more comfortable, while they have you in hospital. One good thing, is that you may get some tests carried out more quickly, while you're in hospital. Here's hoping that this happens and that it turns out to be an infection rather than cancer.

So my lung doctor sent me for a telescope to get a sample and go from there to say I was uncomfortable would be unstatement. Either be next week or week after for the results.
This is always an anxious wait, until you get the results. I am sorry to hear that your biopsy was so uncomfortable, but at least that's over and done with.
