Ive just had a call from the hospital, ive to go on Saturday morning for a colonoscopy.

I’m the same had diarrhea for about nine days , but it’s gone back to normal now , my fit test came back positive and I’ve got to have a colonoscopy, I’m absolutely petrified I’ve got cancer , it’s all the waiting which is the hard part . Can’t really give advice other than try and keep your mind active , stay of google especially American sites and keep to forums like this one 

I have had a CT colonoscopy today after a positive fit test. I coped with the bowel prep and the scanner (I’m claustrophobic)

I am not coping with the bowel prep, its giving me major some stomach’s and nauseous, 

i have my colonoscopy tomorrow morning, but im scared i cant manage all this bowel prep. 

I have my fingers crossed you get good results. 

thats good that you no longer have diarrhoea, mines hasn’t stopped for 4 weeks. I am so drained with it.

google is defo the worst for information, i have been trying to stay off it best i can. 

Sorry to hear about your diarrhea, it’s bad enough when it lasts two days , good luck with you colonoscopy.

Someone told me to mix the medicine with cordial. Also I drank it with a straw which helped so I could have a break before finishing it. I expected the diarrhoea to start straight away but it didn’t start till the next morning. If they find anything I wiil still have to go back for an ordinary colonoscopy. I hope the prep goes well for you.

I had a fit score of 168 had a colonoscopy and i have a 5 cm tumour and a cat scan this week, the only symptoms i had were mucus with a small amount of blood sometimes and two blood clots , i feel ok no different than i have ever felt not tired or losing weight
