I am sorry to hear that you are concerned that your sentinel node was removed at the same time as your lumpectomy. Your surgeon should have explained beforehand that this is normal procedure with almost any breast surgery. This gets everything looked at on the one trip and saves having to wait for more results at a later date.

Have you been told when your pathology results will be back? I hope that nothing untoward was found.

Thanks for replying Jolamine. I will not get my results until the 15th Feb. 

I have been on this journey since November.

It is always a worrying wait until all of your results are behind you, but you'll be glad that you're almost there. I hope that you are recovering after your surgery and are not too sore.
