CT scan found lymph nodes on stomach. Been told it could be cancer.

Hello I've had a CT on my chest for something separate, which has showed that my stomach lymph nodes are larger than normal. I explained to the doctor that I had had Covid recently and had had several colds and coughs, but she said "the probability is it is cancer, more than an infection".  My blood test results are fine. They are sending me for more tests but I'm going round in circles waiting. Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Hi Jon786,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. As you say, the waiting for further information is never easy - I hope you are getting on OK and that it's not too long to wait for any more tests and results.

Try to take things a day at a time in the meantime, and keep busy and focus on other things where possible to help keep your mind off any worries.

Hopefully you'll get some more replies here soon, and I hope that the forum can be of some help to you.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
