Thyroid nodule THY3F - has anyone tried Afirma molecular testing to get a conclusive diagnosis and rule out surgery?

Hi there. I was wondering if anyone tried Afirma molecular testing for indeterminate thyroid nodules. My nodules are thy3f and MDT recommended total thyroidectomy. It drives me insane that i I can only have diagnosis after removing it!
