Hi, i'm waiting for biopsy results from a large uterine polyp & womb lining (found during an ultrasound due to post menopausal bleeding).  The biopsy / polyp were taken just over 3 weeks ago on 28th December.  I've found myself googling whether it's bad news if you get the results more quickly, or slowly! the wait is driving me to distraction.  Can anyone shed any light on how long the results take at the moment for this type of biopsy?

I have just recovered from a distal pancreatectomy to remove a neuroendocrine tumour, so this is a real blow & the wait is really getting me down now.

Any insights would be really appreciated.
