I am waiting for results of uterine biopsy, carried following post menopausal bleed, scan showed womb lining thickened (19mm). Consultant said she would phone if further treatment required otherwise she would write me. It has been 4 weeks since biopsy and at 1830 tonight I had missed call from hospital on a number that does not accept return calls. I am really anxious now - would they have called back if urgent?
