I am sorry to hear about this pain you have experienced in your right breast in the last few months. You did well to go and get this checked out by a doctor. It's good you won't have to wait too long now for your scan. It's normal to be terrified at this stage especially as you don't know really what to expect and with your mum having had a breast cancer diagnosis in the past but it's worth bearing in mind that a majority of referrals for breast related concerns turn out not to be cancer but it's important to be thorough and check things properly. I am keeping everything crossed for you that it is nothing of concern and that you find out very soon what this pain might be and also that it gets treated.
