I have been reading through previous posts but I am not having much luck with finding a similar pathway to mine. 

I really hope someone can help as I couldn't get any information from my Gynaecologist, when I tried to ask.

I had an MRI done on 1st January as I am on the 2 week pathway for a complex ovarian cyst. My MDT met the following

Monday and called me yesterday to say that the MRI showed a polyp on the inner lining of my womb, that needs to come out and be tested.

From previous posts that I have read, I've seen that an MRI is done after a hysteroscopy to see if cancer has spread so

I am thinking that the MRI must have shown something a bit dodgy? I don't know how efficient MRIs are at seeing things. 

I try and stay away from Dr Google but am worried that the polyp is being removed after what was seen on the MRI.

Am I worrying unnecessarily? So sorry and I hope everyone is ok xxx
