Lump on cervix

A couple of years ago I had a more a coil fitted. This was quite short lived as it was painful and I bled a lot with it. When I was checking the strings for it before I had it removed I found a lump on my cervix.
when they removed the coils I had a smear test and a biopsy of my uterus. All came back fine. I have since had another smear test which was also negative.
Recently I’ve been getting some pain around my cervix so out of curiosity I checked to see if the lump was still there. It is, and is gotten bigger.
im panicking now in case something serious has been missed. It doesn’t help that my husband died of misdiagnosed cancer 7 years ago. So I’m a nervous wreck about anything in this subject because we have kids. Has anyone else experienced a lump on their cervix? Could it be a tumour even though I’ve had clear smear tests? Obviously I’m going to contact my GP asap but I’m so nervous right now. My mind is going at a thousand miles an hour.
