How long until I know?

Hi I’m in South Wales, had a biopsy in November and was told on Friday that the samples must go to a specialist lab and cancer panel in Cardiff to determine what type of lymphoma I have. The original lab could not make a determination. Anyone know how long this takes? The consultant was not prepared to state a timeframe. I’m a 55 year old man retired for 8 months and going out of mind with worry…

    It's difficult to know how long this will take as waiting times do vary, but you can always chase this up with your consultant further down the line. I can understand the wait is difficult but please try to focus on other things in the meantime. There's some advice here, which can be useful while waiting for news.
