Atypical mole??

Hi,

so I have just had a biopsy on a mole on my shoulder, I was told by the GP that it was nothing to worry about (he was 99.5% sure) but referred to another GP to double check. The second GP put a 2ww referral for me. When I had my initial appointment at the hospital, the dr said yes that needs to come off. I have just had the mole removed last Tuesday. But I have not actually spoken to anyone about it potentially being cancer… no one has really told me what they think it could be. I feel so confused. I know I should have asked but in the moment I was being told a lot of info about the removal that I just left without asking specifics.

Does that fact that no one has said directly to me that this could be cancer mean it’s a good thing? I know they only remove if they are concerned but I just feel a bit left in the dark as no one has ever said the “cancer” word other than on my 2ww referral form.
