Hi I had a pelvic ultrasound done one the 14th December because of heavy bleeding, bleeding between period, pelvic pain. I have previously had surgery to drain an ovarian cyst and I have also had cin2 and hpv  without treatment years ago. I went go and the nurse said its probably cervical erosion and I was referred for a scan in February 2023 because the bleeding hadn't stopped. After finally having my pelvic ultrasound on 14th December 2023 I received an appointment to see the gynecologist next Thursday 11th January 2024.this is in the hospital 2 hours away instead of just seeing my GP so I'm worried why they would want me to go there? Would anyone have any experience of this? Would it just be routine if everything is fine? Slightly worried as it took most of the year to get the pelvic scan yet barely a few weeks to have the appointment, they said they sent for the appointment the day of my scan. I'm only 32 but have had alot of gynecology issues so my mind is going overdrive.
