  • Hi Dinky,

A very warm welcome to our forum.

I only wish that I could give you a straightforward answer to your question, but unfortunately, it is impossible to be sure until the doctors see the result of his MRI. I totally understand your worry, as I have just had a CT for the same symptoms. I have already had 2 bouts of breast cancer and it could have gone either way. Fortunately, there was no cancer present in the brain and I am now waiting to see a neurologist.

I am glad to see that you don't have much longer to wait, although I'm sure, that it already seems like forever.

Please keep in touch and let us know how he gets on. We are always here for both of you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx

  • Hi Jolamine its great to hear nothing was found on your scan it must be a great relief as I know you've been waiting a while for the results ,hopefully you will get some answers from your next appointment with the neurologist ,have things got better now or are you still having symptoms ???   hopefully you won't have to wait long into 2024 so you can have peace of mind and  completely put the episode behind you x

  • Hi Dinky I can completely understand why you are so worried especially when it includes the brain ,thank goodness your Dad doesn't have to wait too much longer to have his scan at least either way you will find out what is causing his symptoms and you can go from there ,the worrying part is always the waiting and the unknown it just continually goes round and round in your head so hopefully Tuesday will bring you all some sort of relief ,I sincerely hope its nothing too worrying and if it is that treatment will be available to him ,so sending my Best Wishes to your family ,feel free to pop on here anytime for a chat x

  • Hi Jenny,

Unfortunately, the symptoms still persist. I haven't got the full results yet, but hope that, when I see my GP on Friday, I might find out more. I am still keen to find out the reason for them and, if possible to get back to driving. I hope that you are well and that you have a Happy and Healthy New Year.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
