Results cancelled ! Another 7 days to wait

I am absolutely gutted Had a phone call just to say my results haven’t come in So they’ve cancelled my appointment today Said they won’t be in till 27th after Xmas I actually went feint and had to sit down I’m never good early morning due to my morphine sleep tabs pain killers and the rest Is this normal? I am going to be worried sick now over Christmas I would’ve thought after a week pathology would have the results I know the NHS is understaffed etc but you would think being Christmas they would’ve been ready Sorry to rant I don’t know what else I can do ️Merry Christmas all! ️

    I'm so sorry to hear that you had a phone call to say your results weren't back with the specialist yet. I know how frustrating it can be when you're expecting information on a certain day and then it's delayed. 

    There could be any number of reasons that your results weren't back in time but hopefully next week you will have some news. 

    In the meantime, feel free to post here on the forum to offload how you're feeling or ask questions if it copes. We'll do our best to offer any support we can.

    Hi Nutteries,

    I can fully understand your disappointment when you were told that you won't now get your results until after Christmas. This is always a worrying wait and many people have to wait two weeks or more before they get their results.

    Thank you I know how busy they must be I will be ok once Weds is here and I can get my results Can’t help but worry Thanks for chatting to me
