I found a lump 2 weeks ago in my armpit. My dr has referred me to the urgent suspected cancer team and my appt is next week. I haven't told anyone because it is just before xmas and the lump may be nothing. I don't want to worry everyone over nothing but at the same time i am worried what the 4 hour appt may contain and, if they can not rule it out then and there, can i manage to hide it over xmas? My question is should i tell my family or not? I just don't know what to do for the best. What did others do?
