Hi I've never heard of a telephone appointment after a high fit test ,usually it would lead to a Colonoscopy test and appointment at the Hospital ,I suppose Tuesday is not that far away so you'll find out more then ,you should ask all the questions that you need answering .

I've had a referral and my appointment was by telephone. I was asked questions relating to family history, lifestyle, symptoms etc.  In having a colonoscopy on the 16th and waiting for a CT scan with the dye. I'm absolutely petrified to be honest but my other half just says I'll be fine and stop worrying. 

How long are you having to wait after the initial telephone call? My referral was done Monday 4th (FIT test results were with the GP on 24th November but they needed bloods as well which were done on the 1st December), they're calling Tuesday 12th.

Hi, I had a abnormal fit result and was urgently referred on the 5th. I received a call on the 6th to book in a call with a nurse on the 8th. She asked some questions about family history, symptoms etc and said I would get a call that afternoon to book the colonoscopy in. Sure enough I got a call a few hours later and my colonoscopy is booked in next Saturday the 16th. 

I should add my symptoms were some blood on 3 occasions in the last few weeks but there is a family history of bowel cancer.

Hi there...same thing happening here, time goes so slowly at the moment, hoping that once I know what I'm dealing with I can get motivated. It's the not knowing what you,re up against. As you say could be lots of things , hopefully find out soon
