Waiting for results

Hi all I has a biopsy on 17th November and still awaiting results. I'm driving myself absolutely mental waiting. I've been told to ring back next thurs now to see if I've been discussed at MDT as yet....that will be 1 month. Has anyone waited a month, im so scared that it's time wasted if something serious

Hi,

Did they say they were worried from the biopsy ? I will say that this wait is one of the worst things. I waited 3 weeks for mine but my cancer was still only at stage 1 and I stupidly left my lump for a good few months thinking it was normal. Sending you love x

They didn't say anything other than they weren't sure what it was and therefore did biopsy. My consultant who sent me for mammogram and ultrasound said it felt benign but the lady that did ultrasound said she wasn't sure what the lump was so carried out the biopsy there and then

Very similar to my story, but please try and stay positives as most lumps are benign xx
