Hello I live in a housing association with my partner n to older children n 5 indoor cats , we were informed that our electrics needed replacing doing in the whole house which in itself is stressful enough but now the electrician told me there Asbestos in the popcorn artex on the ceiling n they came yesterday to mark up all the places the plugs n "lighting is going . Yes there moving a lot of the ceiling lights which wouldn't be to bad but I'm now panicking so much because of them cutting into the ceiling in every room n will be disturbing the artex (Asbestos) . Not only are we going to still have to live in the house whilst this work is being done n  so do our cats n I'm so so scared of us all being exposed to the Asbestos.  Am I being silly or do I need to worry I'm thinking of asking the housing to temporarily relocate us all till the jobs are done or do I have to make do , I also have fibromyalgia and am not able to clean the house all over daily whilst they do the  house . Should I contact citizen advice over it all .
