Lumps in uterus

My mum has been told she needs a biopsy as lumps found (she gets seen regularly for prolapse). She’s refused as she’s 86 and said she wouldn’t want to go ahead with treatment if it was. There’s a high chance she’ll be left in a lot of pain/other dangers from the biopsy.

There’s no other tests being done. What should I be looking out for in case it is cancer? So far she’s healthy and not losing any weight.
Thank you for any help.

  • Welcome to the forum Persephone although I'm sorry to hear about your mum. This must be a very difficult time for you both.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation with their loved ones will stop by soon to offer their thoughts and advice but in the meantime, we're thinking of you Persephone and sending our support your way.
