Face to face follow up sent to me after polyp removal

I had a polyp residue taken out 6 weeks ago by Myosure hysterscopy and polypectony  and sent off ( part taken off it in feb all benign) she released me and said she write with histology  now I’ve been sent a face to face apt this week ( test results back 9 days ) I was told by secretary. worried sick as think it’s either cancerous polyp or endometrial cancer . Can anyone advise me of similar as thinking the worse

    When I has my radio-iodine scan a year after having thyroid cancer, I was told they would phone me with the results. Then I got a letter with an appointment for face-to-face. I freaked out, thinking they must have found something and phoned them up to hear it was 100% clear.

    Try not to read too much into how they give the result. It could just be the consultant's preference or they might have something, not necessarily something bad, they want to discuss with you.
