Waiting for my appointment at the breast clinic

So I'm a 41 year old women. I recently had a rash come up on my breast which iv never had before. So I went doctors and she felt my breast and was worried my left felt harder then the other. So she's sending me to the breast clinic to be on the safe side.

But after reading up on stuff I'm noticing more symptoms my right arm and shoulder pain has got worse and I have a lump on my forearm so I keep thinking maybe it's spread to my lymph nodes i.might be over thinking but I can't help thinking the bad stuff I'm also very tired and getting out of breath quickly just by walking up the stairs or doing housework.

Anyway just wanted t chat with anyone who has been going through the same? Or felt the same

Thanks for listening

  • Hi Diana, I’ve been to the breast clinic twice and they’re great- they get things moving really quick. I’m not a doctor but I really think the things you’ve noticed since your GP appointment are probably unconnected. You’re paying more attention to your body and your anxious, and possibly reading into things more than you need to (though I totally understand why!). Try not to worry (easier said than done).. 8/10 trips to the breast clinic do not end in a cancer diagnosis, so I’ve heard. Best of luck to you xxx

  • Ahh thank you I did say this to my friend I think I might be overthinking things. And worrying to much. Just so hard not to really just hope it's nothing fingers crossed x
