Try not to think the worst.. they'll probably get you in for a colposcopy to have a much better look. And take the appropriate action if needed.

I have had issues a few times and lletz procedures.. had one in april to remove cin 2. And went for a follow up a few weeks ago and I have to have another colposcopy. 

I'm extremely anxious.  I suffer from really bad health anxiety . I worry that in 7 months there's changes again.

I've just seen your reply to Steph and wanted to send something back as Steph may not see it now. Although I'm not able to advise on your question, you are welcome to post in the 'Ask the Nurses' section of this forum to get a reply from one of our nurses, if you would like to.

Alternatively do of course discuss any queries with your doctor when you can.

Got appointment for colcospy on weds morning, suddenly all my anxieties have come rushing back!  

That's good. My anxiety is off rhe scale already. So I totally understand how your feeling. It'll soon be here and then you'll know. 

Mine is a week on Monday. 

I don't want it but I know I have to.

Update...

Just had appointment with gyne doctor, all went well she was lovely and so reassuring. She said my cervix looked completely normal. She did a smear test and that was all that was needed. No signs of cancer or ectropion. She said GPs often refer and it turns out to be nothing, may have had a small ectropion which has now gone.  She did say my GP should have done smear test really before this appointment then she could have treated any abnormalities but she did one anyway.  To say I'm relieved is a understatement!
