Hi everyone, new to the forum & I'm asking for my husband.

He's had a wound on his shoulder for about 10 years. It's 2 inches x 1 inch, crusts over with brown scabs & just won't heal.

He's been to the DR today & he's been referred to a dermatology dept, so now waiting for an appointment.

Has anyone had anything similar, he's been told it could be skin cancer or seborrheic keratosis.

Welcome to Cancer Chat. It's good to hear that your husband has seen the doctor and got the referral - this will mean you will get the answers you need soon, and I hope it's not too long to wait for the appointment.
