I live in a Victorian house. It had only just come to me yesterday we have artex ceilings in the hallway and on tne landing. We had a loft conversion 5 months ago. A section on the ceiling was cut away for the new staircase. I was out. Dust contained etc by builders. Windows opened.  Returned a few hours later. Did hoover and sweep the new stairs and bits of plaster. Carpet was protected by plastic. As we never had the artex tested worried about asbestos exposure. Any thoughts?
