Hi, I went to the Dr's last month due to a persistent cough and had started coughing up blood, he sent me straight away for blood tests and a chest x-ray, this came back with a shadow on the left lung, a week later I went for a ct scan which  confirmed a mass like consolidation on the upper left lung (oh and to add to this the bloods came back with type 2 diabetes). I have seen a chest consultant and had pulmonary function tests, a CT pet scan, and a bronchoscopy. The Bronchoscopy was Monday week, and now I'm nervously awaiting the results.
