I had a scan and they found something on my thyroid the consultant was nice he said hhe would see me in 6 weeks with the results but in most cases a biopsy isn’t needed but the senior radiologist would decide if it needs biopsying or not from looking at it fast forward to the biopsy appointment the radiologist decided even before seeing it himself from my previous scan he would be biopsying 

I chased the results and they were given the ENT to look at them when I’m consultant secatary came into today an appointment was booked for next Tuesday my concern is no one rang or anything I found this out but log in to the NHS portal where it showed the appoint call the out patients department they confirmed this and said it was requested an appointment by no later then next week so now I’m worried  

could it be I have thyroid cancer and that’s why it’s been brought forward from December as that’s when the appointment was booked as when he first saw me to refer for the biopsy he said follow up in 6 to 8 weeks and it’s been 3 weeks 

I’m just worried and need some reassurance
