sorry to hear you’re going through this at the moment. I have had lymphoma, and am currently in remission so would be more than happy to discuss things with you.

i would say probably best to wait until you have all the results and information to hand before diving headfirst into things. Try to relax as best you can, and don’t overthink the worst before it gets there (believe me - it’s not always as bad as you think!)

thank you so much for your reply, I have now had my biopsy results and i have relaxed a tiny bit, it has been confirmed as a lymphoma, so I’ve been transferred to the hospital, I have my first appointment at there at the lymphoma clinic next Wednesday and don’t know what to expect,

very sorry to hear this but the most important thing is not to panic. I know this isn’t about me at all but for some context -

I was diagnosed with one of the most aggressive forms of Lymphoma at an advanced stage back in December 2021, and after successful treatment have a clean bill of health now.

take a pad and a pen with you to the appointment to take some notes but do get plenty of rest and if you need to chat, feel free to message me

It’s really good to hear that you are in remission I am a real worrier do I’m trying hard not to panic.

no problem at all. I had a rare and aggressive form and of NHL called Burkitt Lymphoma stage 4. 

5 months inpatient chemotherapy on a Regime called RCodox-M/R IVAC

Thanks for such a swift response.

My mum has been diagnosed with NHL stage 4. The NHS told her this week that it is incurable after a needle biopsy and said she just has to live with it.
