Hi all

im 51 and went through the menopause at 38 when my periods just suddenly stopped for good. I was told after investigation I had gone through the menopause. I haven’t had any symptoms so never had hrt and had no bleeding unt 5/6 months ago. It started with spotting. Every day there would be spotting g which has now built up to a medium flow period. 
I have to wear a pad. I have pain down below. A low dragging sharp pain. I also have the worst low back pain. I’m constipated and I’m weeing constantly, even feeling like I need to wee when I don’t. I suffer with heart burn all the time. I’m constantly tired. I also get a lot of pain in my legs. Lastly it hurts to have sex. 
I went to the dr and she was shocked I left it so long. I explained I have been looking after my mother who has recently died of lung cancer and before that my hubby who had tonsil cancer ( he’s fine btw)   She has now sent me for an urgent appointment on Tuesday November 13th and I’m terrified. What can I expect? Will they give me any idea on the day if it’s cancer or not?
