Lay here crying when I should be working really struggling to pull myself together. 3 weeks ago I went for scheduled smear and they found what they said was a large irregular polyp and issued 2ww for gynaecologist. 2 days later I had a phone call asking me to go for an ultrasound, lots of pain from me and muttering from them but they didn’t tell me anything. Went to gyne apt where they said I had a cyst on left ovary so would do a blood test, had a colposcopy where they removed the polyp from the cervix and also took a sample from womb lining and said I would get results in 4 weeks. This was almost 3 weeks ago. Still no results but did get a letter this weekend confirming what they did/found at the last apt it said- large ectopy with irregular polyp at cervical os, removed and sent for histology. Endometrium of 10.8 biopsy taken. Haemorrhage cyst on left ovary ca125 test requested. Is it just bad luck to have multiple innocent gyne issues or could these be linked and I am right to worry?
