In august this year, I got bacterial tonsillitis from my daughter liking her ice cream whoops. This was the 5th time I have gotten it this year. Ever since then, I have a very large tonsil, no pain no lumps but have since started to get a prominent double chin which makes me worry even more. 3 months on, one tonsil is still enlarged, it almost looks like a little brain. I have no pain, just feel tired a lot of the time, but I’m a mum who works full time and my husband works away. I went to my GP in September he said nothing to be concerned about it may just stay up. I had 2 glands in my neck that have been raised for years. Could this be cancer? Should I be pushing my doctors again to have them removed? I’m concerned it’s just one tonsil, the other side does have a jump but it’s further down. In September my doctor did an immunity blood test which came back normal he wanted to see why I am susceptible to catching it. Would those results rule out cancer?
sorry my head is a bit all over the place, I’m 33 with 2 daughters, any advice would be great.
