I am so sorry to hear about your issues with polyps and it sounds like you were in an awful lot of pain after the second visit a week ago. I am not sure myself if this is to be expected but it would be worth getting in touch with your doctor and mentioning these pains in your side and the swelling up you describe. Your doctor will be in the best position to tell you more. I hope you manage to speak to someone soon and that you feel a lot better. 

Hopefully other members of our community will have experienced this before and will be along to share their experience.
