Hi, I also have had this. Lymph nodes in groin and neck. No blood in stool. I had a stool test for blood and calprotectin. Blood was negative in stool but was borderline in calprotectin. I have to redo the test at the end of October. My blood tests also came back clear

Hi Cal, thanks for sharing. Has your doctor shed any light on whether the fact you had clear bloods was a good sign? I mean - it sounds like you’re more or less in the same boat as me. However I haven’t had any stool tests. Not yet at least. I’m just trying to work out if the possibility or suddenly finding out I have an advanced cancer is possible even with clean bloods and no tumour markers in my blood. Stressful time! 

Yes he said it’s a good sign and I had an ultrasound which said they were just swollen lymph nodes with no sinister features.

Thanks cal :) I’m guessing the haematologist is likely to schedule an ultrasound next, that’s what my doctor seems to think will likely happen.
