So I went to drs a couple of weeks ago as I had a lump in my armpit that was painful. Had it checked and Dr said its inflammation will give me something for it and said while we're here can she check me over to which she found a hard mass in my other breast, its not a lump but is a hard type mass. She said she is very concerned and will refer me urgently on 2ww. I waited for 2 weeks and nothing so I called the drs to say I haven't heard and was given the number for the clinic. Called them to be told its up to 10 weeks, I mean what the actual ***, its been the hardest 2 weeks waiting and I've now got to wait another 9 weeks as apparently they only actioned the referral last week!! I feel like I'm going insane, hard to function and stay positive. How can they expect someone who has been told by a doctor you may have cancer to wait 10 weeks and does that long wait have an impact if treatment is needed asap?
