I’m 27 and found a lump on the inner part of my left labia majora two years ago while on the toilet. Went to the doctor but they couldn’t find the lump and I was dismissed. Now has persistant itching and pain in the same spot for 12 months, was given thrush treatment, steroid creams, nothing worked and have found the lump again, working out that I can only feel and see the lump either standing up or on the toilet, must be something to do with where it is and how the tissue sits.

I have a gynae appointment on Friday but because the lump can’t be felt when I lay back to get examined I’m terrified I’ll be dismissed again. I managed to get some good pictures of it but I’m so scared and even if they do believe me I have no idea what the wait time is for a biopsy; I have a gynae dermatology appointment but it’s in June next year, 10 months away!!!
