I can imagine this is a worrying time for you but you did well to go to the doctor's to have this lump checked out. It sounds like they are not particularly worried though and as a result there might be a bit of a wait to be seen. I hope you managed to see your doctor again. How did your appointment go? I really hope that they can find out what is triggering this unbearable pain and that it can be sorted out quickly. Try not to find out yourself what it might be by looking things up on Google as it will not give you satisfactory answers and will make you worry even more.  Fortunately you are in the best possible hands with medical experts looking after you and they will be able I am sure to tell you what it might be. Waiting for results and for a diagnosis can be difficult and there are helpful tips on this page to help you cope while waiting for important news. 

Hopefully you will hear from other members of our community who have experienced something similar before and they will be along shortly to share their experience with you.

Hi , I can’t diagnose obviously but I have had similar . It was a Bartholins cyst , it was massive but painless …… then became infected so I had to have antibiotics which didn’t work so ended up having a small operation which cleared up the problem immediately x I hope you get sorted soon xx
