I'm sorry to hear about your son's health problems at the moment and that he's currently waiting for an appointment with the paediatric specialists. Undoubtedly this will be an anxious time for you all. 

We don't often have members here who post about their young children having cancer but that's not to say someone might see your post and respond. 

In the meantime, I wanted to share this link with you for the Blood Cancer UK website which has lots of information about childhood leukaemia as well as a team of specialists who can offer advice and support along with an online community. You might also find it helpful to have a look at the websites for the charities Children with Cancer UK and Young Lives Vs Cancer. 

If you'd like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses you're most welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice, information, and support that they can whilst you're waiting for your appointment. 

I do hope that you're able to see the specialist soon and they can give you some positive news about your son's health.
